Due in part to the vision of Earl Morse, a retired Air Force captain and physician assistant, and Jeff Miller, a business man from No. Carolina, approximately 280,000 Veterans have been escorted to their national memorials and have not paid a penny
These numbers are made possible through the hard work, dedication and commitment of faithful volunteers at Honor Flight Hubs across the country.
According to statistics released by the Veteran’s Administration, our World War II veterans are dying at a rate of approximately 600 per day. Here in Maine we loose 30 per month, with approximately 1200 WWII Veterans still with us.
