Honor Flight Maine to Host Movie Fundraiser
Of all of the wars in recent history, it was World War II that truly threatened our very existence as both a nation and as a culturally diverse free society. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that over 500 World War II Veterans die every day. Our time to express our thanks and appreciation for these brave men and women is rapidly running out.
Honor Flight Maine's mission is to transport every willing Maine WWII Veteran to visit the memorial erected in their honor in Washington, D.C. - at no cost to them!
On Thursday, April 16, 2015, Honor Flight Maine will host a showing of the movie "Honor Flight - One Last Mission" as a fundraiser to support our upcoming mission to Washington, D.C.
We need your help! Our next trip is scheduled May 8-10 and we are in need of donations to help make this once in a lifetime trip a reality for our eldest and dearest Maine Veteran Heroes - BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! Please come out and see this amazing movie. Tell your friends, bring your family, share in the moment and help make these dreams a reality.
